What is faith? What do we put our faith in?

Faith.. is having complete trust or confidence in someone or something..

I wonder where and what exactly I put my faith in..
I wonder if I put too much faith in people.. faith in family.. faith in friends.. faith in relationships..

After putting all that faith into people... sometimes I wonder if I have any faith left to put in GOd?

What is it that I expect from others? From me? When things start falling apart.. when I start to see flaws in those I put my faith in.. then what? Frustration? Confusion? being lost in my own faith... do I just continue to place my faith in other things that are bound to end the same way? Is it that simple?

When will I truly fully learn to place my faith only in him. The only one that will never fail to love me unconditionally..

Then again.. do others place too much faith in me? What are their expectations from me? What do they wanna see me become? Do? Act?

Faith... it goes both ways..

What are the things we place our faith in? Why do we place it where we do?
