just a week left

I expected her due date to be on March 4, 2013

a week before her due date I began to get her whelping box prepared 

[a place she would be able to give birth to her puppies]

by now I've watched and read numerous forums, blogs, videos, and websites

about dog pregnancies and the birthing process

Honestly, I was exited but still nervous at the same time.

Feb 22 - 53 days into her pregnancy
her stomach was full and I could feel the babies kicking inside
my mom and I guessed there would be at least 3 puppies inside

On the 23rd I took her to the vet so that
I would know how many puppies to expect
I had to play around with the color and contrast to
be able to see the skeletons in the x-ray more clearly

If you look closely you'll be able to see a skull and the spine of the puppy

There are 4 puppies inside :)

almost impossible to see any puppies inside
