my birthday post long over due

February 25 was my 23rd birthday

yet I still cant believe I'm 23...

I used to think 25 was the end and that life would consist of

a marriage, children, and working to support a family

my first birthday cake from the youth group and em members at my church

the very expensive piece of chocolate ganache from ettores
It melts in your mouth and its just so good & amazinggg!
wish I could afford 

girl scout cookies - the small birthday gift i gave myself

My family and I went to dinner at

Tuli's in sacramento to celebrate my birthday

I was so excited to finally have a good dinner with my whole family

since its so hard for us to all eat a meal together these days

veal sweetbread
for those of you who don't know what it is
it is the thymus (or sometimes the pancreas) of a baby cow
I've been dying to try this dish and came to love it

the menu at Tuli's
short but fancy

the duck entree I ordered
it was cooked perfectly
so tender...
I'm drooling just thinking about it

pork chops - I believe it was the best entree of the night
and the biggest portion served

pasta my mom ordered
I cant remember what it was called but
the noodles were very chewy (almost hard)
but the sauce prepared was good

finally the steak ordered with some spicy buttery topping

the birthday cake my family bought me from ettores
tiramisu - my favorite
it was so delicious the best cake I've ever had. hands down
my next favorite would be the tiramisu cheesecake from cheesecake factory

the candle I received as a birthday gift from a friend
smells amazing and it's currently keeping my room smelling nice
despite all the puppies and my baby currently living in my room

I can honestly say this birthday was an amazing one

I loved spending time with my family

although I am currently back home it is so hard to find time 

to just hang out with my family

Still can't believe I'm 23

but I continually thank God for keeping me healthy

and giving me the family I have today

I wouldn't ask for anything else.
