two weeks, two days

Its been two weeks & two days
since the puppies have been born
my family has been through
many hours of bottle feeding..
clipping the puppy's nails..
a bad hair day for my baby...
and countless hours of just watching the puppies sleep.
AND for the past two days the puppies eyes have begun to open their eyes :)

sleeping as the other pups feed
im not sure you can tell from the picture
but the runt of our family is now almost the same size as all
the other pups. i think our family
has done a job well done :)
the pups noses have almost turned completely black
desperately trying to get some milk
we are continuing to bottle feed the pups because
I believe my baby isnt producing enough milk to feed
four growing pups multiple times a day.
getting my daily dose of starbucks during my group meeting
& you guessed it..
a HOT caramel macchiato! i hope march never ends!!
before my baby's haircut. on the way to the grooming place in her carrier
after her haircut. she looked so skinny and i had to retrim her face as
it was uneven when she came back from the grooming place.
she doesnt look TOO bad in this picture.
[as long as she doesnt know it was a bad hair day
it works for me :)]

March 15: first born & the first to open her eyes.
i found it interesting that the puppies began to open their eyes
in the order that they were born.
[i was shocked at first when i was cleaning their beds
and found a pairs of eyes staring at me]
the others have yet to open their eyes

shes trying to walk now that she can see where she is going
and what is around her environment
March 17: the second born girl has slowly begun to open her eyes
[you cant really tell by this picture
but i was able to see a very small part of her eye]
the first born's eyes have gotten bigger in just one day
March 18: all puppies have finally opened their eyes
my personal favorite is the boy [top left]
i think his eyes look the cutest as it is the smallest
at this point because he was the last to open his eyes

one of my cute elementary kids & my brother
she's the most well-behaved and the quietest of the group
[maybe since she's only 5]
but we love her!
Today was my brothers 22nd birthday (March 18)
our church friends surprised him with a cake this past sunday
& a birthday kiss i guess

Since i love cute pictures of people from the back
I thought Id end the post with this picture
ta-ta for now :)
