today is the day

On March 2 I could tell my baby was acting a little different

she began to dig around her bedding

then began the panting and shivering

so I moved her to her whelping box

Feb 27 - three days before she gave birth
because I didnt want to stress her out I couldnt take her to get groomed
throughout her pregnancy
the small hair clip will have to do

the contractions have begun - March 2 around 12:30 pm

she began pushing around 3 pm

After all the pushing and watching the sac come out

I helped removed the puppy from the sac and cut the umbilical cord

Heres our first pup

the first pup was born at 3:57 pm - it was a girl

the second pup was born shortly after at 4:03 pm
another girl!

the third pup was a boy born at 5:26 pm
by now my baby knew what she was doing
she began to take care of her pups :)

the fourth and final pup born at 5:53 pm - another boy

finally getting some rest after a long day
